			ACIDOPHILUS with APPLE PECTIN Lactobacillus is a form of good bacteria in the bowel that often is destroyed by gut infections and by the use of antibiotics. Following a course of antibiotics with a course of L. acidophilus to replace this good bacteria is recommended. This products contains 20 million lactobacillus acidophilus bacteria coated with apple pectin so that they reach the intestine and are not destroyed by the stomach acid or the bile salts. See research study below. Good bacteria in the bowel may be helpful with gas and bloating, diarrhea or constipation and with proper absorption of nutrients.
