CHOLINE - HELP WITH FAT DIGESTION - 90 tablets
For help with the digestion of fats, cholesterol, proteins and carbohydrates. Choline is essential for gallbladder
and liver functioning. Choline is also a precursor of acetylcholine which is an important neurotransmitter. Studies
show that choline supports memory enhancement, may improve analytical thinking, creativity and cognitive function.
It may also be helpful in fatty liver disease. See research study below.
Ingredients: choline 235 mg (from 500 mg choline bitartrate) per capsule.
Other ingredients: cellulose, silicia, vegetable stearate and gelatin capsule.

Research

Men and women fed intravenously (IV) with solutions that contained adequate methionine and folate but lacked choline
have developed a condition called "fatty liver" and signs of liver damage that resolved when choline
was provided.1
Five-week-old Wistar rats were fed a choline-deficient diet for 8 weeks to create a NASH (non-alcoholic steatohepatitis
or fatty liver that is not alchohol induced) model. This basically confirms that insufficient choline in the diet
can definately contribute to a fatty liver.2
Researchers at the Haukeland University Hospital in Bergen, Norway reported that the lower the concentrations of
choline found in the blood, the higher the anxiety.3
